Brunei Shell Marketing Company Sdn Bhd (BSM) and Indera Motors Sdn Bhd signed an agreement on Tuesday, 5 November 2024, at Indera Motors showroom, establishing a strategic partnership that represents a significant advancement in efforts to promote electric vehicle (EV) products and services in Brunei.

Signing on behalf of BSM was Mohammed Alexirwan bin Haji Omar, BSM Managing Director, and witnessed by Mohd Adini Hj Mohd Daini, BSM Head of Customer Excellence. Signing on behalf of Indera Motors was Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Ghaffar bin Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib, Managing Director of Indera Motors, and witnessed by Alfred Yong Foh Sen, General Manager of Indera Motors

As part of this collaboration, Indera Motors, the official distributor of Jaguar and Land Rover in Brunei, will offer its customers advanced EV charging solutions through Shell Recharge. This initiative supports the growing adoption of electric vehicles and reflects both companies’ commitment to environmentally friendly alternatives.

Through the Shell Recharge network, BSM remains committed to providing Brunei’s EV drivers with reliable and convenient charging options, whether at home, at retail stations, or at public charging points.

This partnership is designed to provide Jaguar and Land Rover customers with a complete solution for their EV charging needs. The services offered include:
• Home Charging Assessments: Assessment and evaluation of charging set ups for home EV chargers.
• Supply of Advanced EV Chargers: High-performance chargers, compatible with modern electric vehicle models.
• Installation Services and Safety Compliance: Professional installation that adheres to global safety standards, ensuring reliability and security for customers.

Additionally, customers will gain access to existing and future Shell Recharge charging stations across Brunei, including the country’s first rapid charger, located at the IBA Retail Station in Lambak.
